GPS for K4b2 With the GPS (Global Positioning System) kit your COSMED K4 b˛ will be able to collect all the geographical information of your “on-field testing”. With a simple add-on the K4 b˛ can store simultaneously speed, distance, altitude, longitude and latitude together with breath by breath gas exchange data.The “GPS track” feature allows to display exercise path on a geographical scale and select any parameter (VO2, Ventilation, HR etc.) and plot it over the map traced by the GPS. The graph charts pace, speed, heart rate, elevation, or grade data based on distance. Aquatrainer With the new AquaTrainer kit your K4b2 will be able to test the physiological response to exercise of a swimmer. A simple add-on to the equipment will allow researchers and coaches to acquire an incredible number of information of athletes tested in real conditions (pool or flume). The snorkel is light, hydrodynamic and designed to suite swimmer’s natural movements.Swimming with the snorkel is considerated a valid field condition to measure the swimmers’ cardiorespiratory response as during free swimming. In case of a flume, AquaTrainer can also be used connected with other COSMED Metabolic systems as Quark b˛ and Quark PFT Ergo. Windows™ Software for advanced data analysis.
