 Problem connecting VISTA PC to MAC server

Start - Run secpol.msc [enter] (or Control Pannel - Admin Tool - Local Security Tools)
Click on "Local Policies" "Security Options"
Find "Network Security : LAN Manager authentication level" in the list and double-click for Properties.
Windows Vista sets the policy to "NTVLM2 responses only". Use the drop-down arrow to change to "LM and NTLM ? use NTLMV2 session security if negotiated
Vista Home Premium
Run the registry editor and go to key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Lsa
If it doesn't already exist, create a DWORD value named
LmCompatibilityLevel with Value 1
