Vacuklav 24B+

Tap-water connection necessary Chamber depth: 45cm, 22 litres

The Vacuklav 24 B+ is a class "B" autoclave according to the European standard EN 13060 and therefore absolutely fit for the future.

It works according to the fractionated pre-vacuum method. This means: At first the air is evacuated from the chamber with a very effective vacuum pump. Then there is a repeated intake of steam which is always immediately pumped out again. The result is that at the beginning of the actual sterilization, there is no longer any air in the chamber or in wrapped hollow instruments or in textiles which would endanger the success of the sterilization.

The Vacuklav is equipped with a fractionated post vacuum for effective drying as a prerequisite for long-term storage of wrapped sterilized materials. Sensors and an innovative microprocessor control regulate and monitor the parameters pressure and temperature necessary for a secure sterilization.

The Vacuklav 24 B+ offers 5 programs, as well as 2 test programs:
Universal-Program 134°C/ 2 bar Vakuum-test
Quick-Program "B" 134°C/ 2 bar Bowie&Dick-test.
Quick-Program "S" 134°C/ 2 bar
Prion-Program 134°C/ 2 bar
Gentle-Program 121°C/ 1 bar

To save time and expense, the optional connection of a water treatment system for the automatic supply of high-quality demineralized water is possible with MELAdem 40. If several sterilization cycles are carried out daily, the MELAdem 47 is recommended. The Vacuklav 24 B+ is then automatically supplied with fresh, demineralized water. This protects your instruments and the autoclave, because they cannot be damaged by frequently employed or bad-quality water.

The documentation of the sterilization cycles required by law is carried out over the built-in serial interface connection (RS 232) to the protocol printer MELAprint 42 or to the connection to the practice PC. The documentation software MELAwin developed by MELAG is required for this.

Additionally, it is possible to connect the MELAflash CF Card Printer used to save the sterilization records on the MELAflash CF Card. The sterilization records can be read out on every PC with the MELAflash CF-Card reader.

aIncorporation in the practice network is effected by connecting the MELAnet Box to the serial interface of the autoclave. Thus, the sterilization protocols are imported to the user P.C. The MELAnet Box is fitted with independent software which places websites in the user network so that you can view protocols from any computer.

aTwo helix reference block systems, the MELAcontrol and MELAcontrol PRO are available for the verification of successful sterilization in a class B autoclave.

The documentation of the release is carried out with the MELAdoc system, consisting of the documentation pages and the label printer for sterilization packaging.

For the optimal employment of the chamber, you can select from three mountings: the mounting C for 6 trays or for 3 standard tray cassettes is standard. Likewise different sterilization containers are available.
